The Sondheim Bundle

Two extraordinary albums. One legendary songwriter. A celebration of Stephen Sondheim through the voice of Melissa Errico.

Discover Melissa Errico’s deeply personal interpretations of Stephen Sondheim in this special collection, bringing together her two acclaimed all-Sondheim recordings, Sondheim Sublime and Sondheim in the City, along with a collectible signed poster.

Described by The Wall Street Journal as “the best all-Sondheim album ever recorded,” Sondheim Sublime explores the soulful, heartfelt side of Sondheim—his songs of aching love, longing, and slowly dawning wisdom—curated with Sondheim himself. Accompanied by pianist Tedd Firth, Melissa brings an intimate, romantic touch to some of the composer’s most beloved music.

Her second all-Sondheim recording, Sondheim in the City, takes listeners on a vibrant journey through New York, celebrating the complicated, romantic, funny, and searching characters who inhabit Sondheim’s urban world. Made just after the composer’s passing, Melissa inhabits the metropolitan energy of “Another Hundred People” to the bittersweet self reflection of “Being Alive.” She captures the city in all its beauty, heartbreak, and possibility. Did Sondheim create the Manhattan we know, or did Manhattan create him?

Completing the collection is The Sondheim Woman, an 11” × 17” signed poster photographed by Marco Vacchi, capturing Melissa strolling through Central Park as the embodiment of the complex Sondheim New Yorker.
